We’re Karyn & Clive Bright.

In 2020 we spent most of lockdown 1 in Sennen Cove, the Cornish haven to which Clive has continually returned since he first visited in 1967. It’s a special place for our family so when we spotted a plot of land “at the top” – complete with planning permission for a 4 bedroom house – it felt like it was a sign.

“What’s the worst that could happen?” we asked.

Answer: “That in 10 years time we turn around and say: “I wish we had gone for it when we could.”

So this is a record, for family and friends, of our experiences – the learnings and challenges of tackling our first build. Building a home we hope you’ll all visit and enjoy!
