… we WILL get back into a home of our own. Here’s where everything is at as we kick off 2022:
Upstairs (lounge) is plastered and ready for the UFH and screed to be laid first week in February
All windows and sliding doors are in – and the views are fab!
First fix electrics and plumbing is complete and pretty much everywhere is now boarded ready for the plasterers
Roof is fully tiled and solar panels have been installed
Redwood cladding is nearly complete; granite stone cladding on ground floor end walls is still to start (stone mason availability issues apparently!)
Decorator was booked to start mid February and the bathroom tiling is underway. However, plastering downstairs hasn’t started yet so watch this space!
Internal doors selected – handles not
Bathroom sanitaryware and tiles are all on site
The search for interior and exterior light fittings goes on – am losing the will to live!
And there are only 8 weeks to go!!!!
